AM Photography For Hire! (London)

Anca Moanta (AM Photography London) is a 28 year old freelance photographer with 9 years of experience in professional photography. Born in Romania, she moved to Germany after being offered a scholarship for studying Art History and Literature at Jacobs University Bremen. During her studies, she started doing street photography, then portraiture and events reportage. After an internship with an amazing German photographer, she decided to pursue a career in this field. Once her studies in Bremen were finished, she moved to Milanand studied professional photography at Istituto Italiano di Fotografia; Also, she attended conceptual photography classes at Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam for 4 months.

Anca lived and worked in Milan for 5 years, doing various internships with photography studios and assisting high end fashion & advertising photographers, after which she started freelancing. During her stay in Milan, she was represented by an agency and photographed at Fashion Week in Milan and Paris, having published some of the work in Vogue Spain.  However, she became weary of living in Milan and chose a different scenery to work  in for 6 months – the beautiful island of Sardinia. A year and a half ago she moved to London, where she is currently based, and hates the weather.

Interested in working with music artists, doing portraiture and press shots, events, festivals and fashion. MUAs, hair stylists, fashion stylists/designers and models who would like to collaborate can get in touch via email.  On the 26/27th of May weekend, she is organizing studio photo shoots for artists/press shots.
